Sad but true, and Burnt
(of course more bitter than sweet, but memories make it sweet somehow)
Here I show you the remains of Old Fort Chaffee, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
It was (set) on fire Tuesday Jan 29th, and my guess is that 80% of the
old and abandoned barracks are gone now.
I saw this, and didn't know what to think..
It was there and gone, yet, it didn't hit me like I thought it would.
At least I was glad to see that not every single building is gone
and the way that the chimneys stand up bare is interesting,
makes theplace look like a war zone w/o the dead people.
I am going to miss it whatever happens to it.
It Served me as the really cool backdrop for many of the pictures
I have taken in the past, and I was not done there,
I was not ready to give it up.
I do hope it remains as it is,
although, unlikely to happen.

The force of Nature......Really ?
It's the middle of January, yet, it feels like April.Kids are out, going to the skating park and it really feels like
April. Yes, I already mentioned that, but it does.
It has been a lazy Sunday, sun is out and finding nothing
better to do, the skating park offered a few minutes of
distraction, the kind that makes you wonder what are you
doing there in the first place, but yet, there was nothing
better to do.
