Close enough, but Not December yet

Lights ? check
Christmas Music ? check
Malls full of People ? check
Horrible traffic? check

Of course, even days before Black Friday, most of what's listed
brings the "joy" of the holidaze, the true meaning of Christmas.
We survive it every year, and we all get the usual sweater
as a Christmas present we ALL been wanting to have so bad.
And I sound all negative and all, but not really feeling that way
just certain things annoy me around this time, and it's usually
things that other people do.

Strike a Pose

The need of knowing how to pose someone.
Spent last weekend in Saint Louis, MO. meeting with some Mpix members for a photo shoot and a seminar. It was a great experience, educational for sure.
The model was great, she is a pro and a natural as well, it was definitely motivational to take her pictures.
I was glad to meet some great people too (Mpixers).

The Colors of the Season

It has been said before probably a 100,000 times
There's something about the colors that this season brings
that makes you want to get out and feel the brisk air,
watch the leaves, see the trees and yes...
take a few pictures too.

The Need of both, letters and numbers

Fort Chaffee, AR

In 1995 the Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission recommended the permanent closure of Fort Chaffee, AR, and the installation was closed in September 1997

Although I have been here a few times taking pictures, there's something about the place that continues dragging me back to it.
It has the doctor-recommended dose of decay and abandoned scenery to go around.

Great for portrait photography in my opinion.

Dairy dose

Located on the northeast part of town, this old drive-in still offers it's customers some of the best vanilla shakes around.
At times forgotten because of its location, still makes it worth going.

Le Cirque

It had been at least 25 years since the last time I went to the Circus, wow, typing 25 years does not come easy.
Everything is pretty much in the same places where we left them back then, the clowns, the jogglers, magic, lions, elephants, and yes, that girl that hangs from a couple of rights and fits more the title of a contortionist, she was there too.
Pictures were bad due to the lack of good light and/or the lack of a better lens.

It has been close to 10 years since the last time I went to the county fair...
Such an experience (at this point not sure if it would be considered good or bad)

Wanted to experiment taking the pictures that we often see online and hardly ever take the time to try.
